While you move through class, sip something warm in the coffee lounge, or finally get some focused work done, your little one is happily playing just steps away. One visit, everything you both need.

Reserve Playcare right in the ALEOLI app when you book your class. Booking both together helps us guarantee a spot and give your child our full attention.

Your Me Time was never meant to compete with your family's needs

Playcare exists so you never have to choose. Take your class, catch up on work, or simply enjoy a slow coffee, all while your little one plays safely a few steps away.

How Playcare Works

Everything to know before your visit

We built Playcare so you can relax knowing your little one is safe, engaged, and close by. Tap any topic below for the full details.

Quick Summary: What Matters Most
  • Playcare runs alongside our class schedule: 7:45 AM to 2 PM Monday through Sunday, and 5 PM to 8 PM Monday through Friday.
  • Playcare welcomes children ages 6 months to 6 years, for one or two continuous hours a day, up to 12 hours a week.
  • Playcare is a drop off service. Parents and caregivers stay on the premises but not inside the playroom, aside from up to 5 minutes on a first visit.
  • Once your child leaves the playroom, the session is complete. Reentry is not available during the same reservation.
  • You will receive a pager at check in. If we page you, please return within 5 minutes.
  • Children showing signs of illness cannot be accepted, and a child who becomes ill during a session will be paged for pickup right away.
  • A signed liability waiver is required before your child's first visit.
  • All sessions are reserved in advance through our website or the ALEOLI app.
Before You Book
Eligibility and Usage Limits
  • Temporary Playcare is available for children ages 6 months to 6 years.
  • Reserve one or two continuous hours per day, up to 12 hours per child, per week.
  • Parents and caregivers stay on the ALEOLI premises for the entire session. Leaving the property while your child is in Playcare is never permitted.
What to Bring
  • Please label all personal belongings clearly with your child's name.
  • Bring only what your child needs. We ask that toys or valuable personal items stay home, since they can be lost, damaged, or shared with other children.
  • Children should arrive with a clean diaper and ready to join in.
Booking and Cancellation
  • All Playcare sessions are reserved in advance through our website or app.
  • Reservations depend on availability, room capacity, and staffing ratios, so walk ins cannot be guaranteed.
  • Please review our cancellation, late cancellation, and no show policies before booking.
Liability Waiver

A signed liability waiver is required for every child before joining Playcare.

By booking a session, you agree to follow our Playcare policies and team instructions, the same guidelines that help us keep every visit safe, consistent, and positive for every child and family.

Drop Off and Check In
Check In and Pagers
  • At check in, you will receive a pager to keep with you at all times while your child is in Playcare.
  • If we page you, please return to Playcare within 5 minutes to attend to your child.
  • Before you step away from check in, please make sure our team has your correct contact information.
Drop Off Policy
  • Playcare is a drop off service. Parents and caregivers do not stay inside the playroom during the reservation.
  • On a first visit, or when it truly helps, one parent may walk their child in and stay up to 5 minutes before stepping outside so our team can help them settle in.
A short, consistent goodbye usually makes the transition easier for your child and helps our team keep the room calm for everyone.
Parent Access

You are always welcome to check on your child from our designated check in area. To protect the calm of the room, parents do not pass the check in point or enter the playroom.

A gentle note: seeing you can sometimes make a child excited, teary, or ready to leave. We recommend checking in discreetly whenever you can.
Reservations and Session Time
  • Reservations are available for one or two continuous hours.
  • Reserved time cannot be split, paused, transferred, or used at separate times during the day.
  • Once your child leaves the playroom, the session is complete, even if time remains. Reentry during the same reservation is not available.
  • Please plan to return before your reservation ends. Extra time is never guaranteed and depends on staffing, availability, and room capacity.
Care and Safety
Staffing and Safety

Our trained team provides a safe, supervised, and engaging environment with age appropriate activities.

1 nanny for every 4 crawlers 1 nanny for every 6 walkers

Admission always depends on room capacity and our staff to child ratios. Additional children cannot be added to a reservation without booking in advance.

Personal Care Responsibilities

Our Playcare team does not change diapers, assist with the bathroom, or feed children. When paged, parents and caregivers return to handle these moments themselves, including:

  • Diaper changes
  • Bathroom assistance
  • Feeding
  • Injuries or accidents
  • Excessive crying
  • Vomiting
  • Signs of illness
  • Any other personal or medical need
Behavior and Safety
  • Children need to be able to take part safely in the Playcare environment.
  • We may page you if your child shows repeated unsafe behavior, such as hitting, biting, pushing, throwing objects, or trying to leave the supervised area.
  • If the behavior continues or raises a safety concern, we may need to end the session early.
Comfort and Health
Crying and Adjustment

Crying is normal and expected, especially during a first or second visit, while children get familiar with the room, our nannies, and the drop off routine.

Even after your child has settled in, crying can still happen because of a change in routine, nap time approaching, hunger, tiredness, separation anxiety, discomfort, illness, or another factor tied to their day.

Scheduling Playcare when your child is rested, fed, and comfortable helps. Please share any changes in their routine or needs with our team at check in.

Our nannies will always do their best to comfort, calm, and redirect your child. If crying is intense or continuous and we are not able to settle them within 10 minutes, we will page you and the session will end.

In this situation, both your class credit and Playcare credit are returned to your account so you can reschedule for a time that works better.
Illness Policy

We are not able to welcome children showing signs of illness into Playcare, including but not limited to:

  • Fever
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Excessive mucus or a runny nose
  • Persistent coughing
  • Unusual tiredness or discomfort
  • A contagious rash
  • Any other symptoms that may point to illness

If your child vomits or shows signs of illness during a session, we will page you right away and ask you to pick them up. The session will end at that time.
